The Traver Lakes Maintenance Association (TLCMA) Nominating Committee is soliciting nominations for seats on the Board of Directors. Four seats will be open for election in September 2020 for a two year term. The Nominating Committee will be chaired by Dave Griffenhagen who is a present member of the board and Bruce Auerbach from the Villas and Mike Harrigan from the homes.
The Board meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at the clubhouse. In order to be eligible to be a director, the candidate must be an owner of record of a property within TLCMA. The nomination should include the candidate’s name, address, email, telephone number, years of ownership, past board membership of any kind, and a brief statement on why he or she want to serve on the board. Nominations should be sent to the Nominating Committee by email to Dave Griffenhagen at email@example.com or by mail to David Griffenhagen, 2420 Placid Way, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
Nominations should be submitted by no later than August 15, 2020 so that the committee can review and prepare the necessary proxy forms including the nominated candidates with information regarding each candidate.
The annual meeting and election are scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2020. At this time, we are uncertain as to how best to have a meeting and election with Covid 19 restrictions and safety concerns. More information will be forthcoming.
