POOL UPDATE: The 2026 Pool Season
Good Pool News!
The pools passed inspection on Thursday afternoon, July 9th! The pools officially opened Friday, July 10, at 10:00 AM.
Daily pool hours will be 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, barring bad weather closures. As long as we have staff available to work at the pool, we hope to stay open past Labor Day, as we have done the past couple of years.
Many thanks to the community for your patience as the pools were repaired and are now looking and functioning nicely!
We greatly appreciate Aquatic Engineering's top notch work repairing our difficult and extensive maintenance issues as fast as anyone could have, Joe Urban's lightning fast pool chemistry wizardry that allowed us to pass an inspection so quickly, and American Association Management for taking on pool payroll early to make the transition smoother. Also a huge thanks to the community volunteers and Board Members that jumped in and helped fill in all the gaps so we could pull off the pool opening as soon after the repairs as possible.

NEW PATH LIGHT MONITORING PLACARDS
Traver Lakes has recently had numbering placards installed on our pathway light posts. If you notice any path lights burnt out, please report the outage to the Board and Propery Management and indicate the number on the path light post to help us find and repair the outage.
Please do keep in mind, however, that path lights 33, 34, 41-45, and 47-54 (along Traver Blvd and the West Pond) are on elctrical curcuits that have been damaged, the Board is aware of this and trying to find a solution.
Here are links to path light maps to help identify locations. The yellow dots are path lights operated by Traver Lakes. The Orange dots are larger street lights. The street lights along the City Roads are operated by the City and have their own identifying numbers. City streetlight outages should be reported directly to the City of Ann Arbor.
