POOL SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!

POOL UPDATE: CANNOT OPEN UNTIL WE FIND MORE CERTIFIED LIFEGUARDS

Good News: Our pool maintenance is complete, we have passed the City’s pool inspection, and we have obtained conditional approval to open the pools once we have the full staff of certified lifeguards.

Bad News: We currently only have one certified lifeguard on staff and we need to have at least three in order to open the pools. We cannot open without current certifications posted for the minimum lifeguards required by the City and a certified lifeguard on duty during all open pool hours.

Callout: We implore all Members of the Traver Lakes Community to reach out to any potential lifeguards you may know that might be willing to be on our pool staff and put them in contact with our property management and Board. Email hoa@traverlakes.com or call Select Property Management directly. Please note that the Association will cover the cost of lifeguard certification for anyone willing to take these positions.

Pool hours are anticipated to be:

~~Memorial Day weekend (Sat, May 24/Sun, May 25): Noon-8:00pm~~

Friday, May 30 4:00-8:00pm
Saturday, May 31 Noon-8:00pm
Sunday, June 1 Noon-8:00pm

Friday, June 6 4:00-8:00pm
Saturday, June 7 Noon-8:00pm
Sunday, June 8 Noon-8:00pm

Thursday, June 12 4:00-8:00pm

The rest of the season (June 13 through August 24) the pool will be open from 10:00am-8:00pm daily.

The current pool passes will still be used until our card reader system is ready.

NIXON ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT UPDATE

The City of Ann Arbor Nixon Road Improvement Project will begin soon.

The start date for Phase 1 of the Nixon Road Improvement Project is May 27th (work will begin at 7am), which will be a full closure of Nixon Road from Huron Parkway to Bluett Road.

TRAVERLAKES.COM WEBSITE UPGRADE

The website is undergoing some improvements. Please bear with us while the site undergoes these changes. The changes are predominantly related to design and user management, so all the previously maintained content pages should still be active and users should continue to be able to login with their current usernames, emails, and passwords. If you discover any broken links or have any difficulties logging into your account please contact the website administrator at webmaster@traverlakes.com.

2024 TRAVER LAKES COMMUNITY POTLUCK PICNICS

A huge thanks to everyone that helped make the 2024 picnics a great success. It was wonderful to see so many friendly Traver faces. We are all looking forward to next year's potlucks!

VILLAS MAINTENANCE UPDATE for 2502 - 2558 TRAVER BLVD ONLY

ColorOrCraft, LLC has finished the siding and painting project for buildings 6 through 8 (the addresses listed above).

A survey of the buildings has been prepared by the Board with additional input from owners. A itemized list of remaining issues has been provided to the contractor and they will be back before long to wrap up the final fixes.

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER CALLOUT

The Traver Lakes Conservation Committee has been moving forward in efforts to beautify our commons areas and protect our native plant and tree species.

There are many opportunities for community members to get involved. Not only will you be helping to make these efforts a success, but you will gain a sense of fulfillment, enjoy our natural surroundings, and get to know your conservation-conscious neighbors,

NEWSLETTERS HAVE STARTED AGAIN

The Board has restarted periodic newsletters to notify residents on pertinent information. Newsletters will be sent by email to all members with TraverLakes.com accounts. They will also be posted as a pdf document on the “Newsletters” page. If you do not currently have a website account, please click the “Register” link on the top right of this home page and set up an account. You will receive a welcome email, once your eligibility has been determined, indicating your account has been enabled.

TLCMA BOARD MEEETINGS

Meetings are always held the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm at the club house.

If you have anything to bring to the board's attention (questions, concerns, suggestions, etc.), please use the Contact Page as soon as possible to send a message to the approriate people and we will address it and get back to you.
